The Shala Bali Retreat

in english

April 30th  - May 5th, 2023

with Eva Lucie Daniela & Sophie Du Lac

We will come together at The Shala Bali, a wellness sanctuary lovingly created to reconnect with our essence and realign with Nature.

This retreat came into life while Sophie and Eva’s sisterhood was rising, becoming a powerful healing force.

Committed to offering a beautiful environment for Yoga, rejuvenating bodywork treatments and healing rituals, Sophie and Eva take you to a place of Peace. Cocooned amongst the magnificent nature of Ubud, rice paddies and coconut palms, where water is still considered sacred and magical.

This approach to wellbeing is founded on the ancient principles of Balinese and Indian philosophy, curated for the conscious and contemporary woman.

Experience a sensory journey, where Jivamukti liberation practices, lymphatic detox and facial sculpting anchored in luxury spa touches are interwoven to take you on a journey back to the core essence of Yourself.

Once we understand that even our deepest voids are not permanent fixtures, our perception of Life begins to shift, things change and come undone and eventually the Magic is forced to rise.

Inspired by MOVEMENT, breath

Discover the beauty of resistance,

melt and allow.

Let go of parts of yourself

that no longer serve.

Heal. Cleanse. Reset and renew.

This is all part of the process.

We shed our tears in order to see the world anew, in joy and celebration.

We honor each participant in their fullness.

We plan our retreat thoughtfully and lovingly so that our guests experience this escape filled with cherished memories.

We come together as a community but we also give plenty of space for you to enjoy time to yourself, life at a slower pace and focus on your own personal journey to wellbeing. We encourage you to create a schedule that suits your own needs for each present moment.

Beautiful, bountiful, Mother Bali.

You call out to us,

Wrap us in Your arms,

and deliver us Home.

Clouds reflecting dreams,

rice fields in the background.

Dragonflies floating freely,

wind shivering the palm trees.

Birds singing with praise,

dancing decor surrounds; echoing sounds.

Delicate raindrops, washing the silence.

Your waters are purificating.

Our souls are healing.

Inspired by movement and the human form, Sophie started her holistic journey studying yoga in Goa, India in 2015. After a few years of teaching, in 2018, she commenced her massage studies to increase her knowledge and understanding of the human body in new and expansive hands-on techniques, to be able to offer people further modalities for healing. Sophie fell in love with facial sculpting and lymphatic drainage after witnessing and experiencing incredible results and post-treatment effects.

Her focus is to create a sensory experience that reconnects you to your body allowing you to unwind and de-stress. Whilst detoxifying the body and face of toxins, promoting the flow of retained fluid, de-puffing, sculpting and reshaping the body and face. Sophie's spa background gives her massage practice a specific signature style anchored in luxury spa touches, inherited in her 5 star spa training, coupled with her knowledge of the human anatomy, lymphatic system and an intuitive sense of knowing what your body needs.

As Eva was growing up, the world began to show her its many challenges and hardships.  She was guided more and more into the world of movement medicine, and then Yoga. Through Yoga she was able to compassionately move through insurmountable challenges and into acceptance. She, eventually, found the softness within resistance.

In the end, it became evident that these gifts needed to be shared with a wider community. She became a Teacher in february 2016, joining the community to empower humans to cultivate actions based on compassion, non-violence and Love.

Over the last seven years Eva has received transmission from many teachers to whom she is endlessly grateful and devoted - among these are Sharon Gannon, Yogeswari and Meghan Currie. She has always believed in this collective inspiration for a creative expression of body and soul {or bodysoul}, to this end the Havah Yoga Collective was founded.

In the beginning of 2022, Retreats Collective came into life. Eva believes whole-heartedly in a community that experiences unique immersive retreats for life changing transformation.

She wishes to share these liberation practices for the heart as a pathway to recovery, transmitting the gifted experiences that helped her along the way.
