FINDING ĪŚVARA
April 1st - April 5th, 2027
with Gianni Sarracino
MARRAKECH, MOROCCO
In the yogic tradition, Īśvara represents a special form of consciousness, untouched by suffering, action, and the limitations of the individual self. It is the Divine form of that formless reality. One we can relate to.
Through Īśvara-praṇidhāna, the practice of surrender to the Divine, we are invited to move beyond the boundaries of the limiting identity and discover a deeper relationship with existence itself.
Set against the landscapes of Morocco, Finding Īśvara is an invitation to explore the meeting points between the intelligence of existence and the Self.
Though we are traveling to one of the most beautiful places on Earth, we are bound to explore an inward transformation.
We invite you to journey with Gianni into the heart of La Medina of Marrakech. Through Jivamukti Yoga practices as asana, meditation, chanting, philosophical exploration, and moments of contemplation, we will investigate what it means to seek the Divine - not as something distant, but as a presence we can learn to recognise through practice.
Perhaps finding Īśvara is not about discovering something new, but changing the way we see what has always been there.

BE MARRAKECH
Tucked away in the heart of Marrakech’s Medina, moments from the iconic Jemaa el-Fna Square, Be Marrakech brings together a collection of intimate riads, each with its own unique atmosphere. Both Riad Essence and Riad Oasis celebrate Moroccan craftsmanship and design. While Essence offers a refined and understated interpretation of traditional Moroccan décor, Oasis embraces a more vibrant and
colourful atmosphere. Cedarwood details, handwoven Berber rugs, and locally crafted pieces bring warmth and authenticity to each space. At the heart of each riad lies a peaceful inner courtyard with its own swimming pool. The venue also features a traditional hammam and massage room, a yoga shala, and a private rooftop terrace offering breathtaking panoramic views across the Medina.

GIANNI SARRACINO
Advanced Certified Jivamukti Teacher/ Mentor for the 300h teacher training & for the JTAP Program.
The path that led Gianni to yoga started at the age of 17, where he took his first asana class in Napoli, Italy.
Gianni has been practicing yoga for over 15 years and for the past 7 years he has been sharing his passion and love with his students in Europe and across south east Asia and India.
He has studied Hatha yoga in Rishikesh, India. He then explored the world of Vinyasa and Yin Yoga in Goa, India. He has studied with Simon Park, Klara Puski, Jivamukti Yoga’s faculty Yogeswari, Moritz Ulrich and Olga Oskorbina.
For him, the best way to respect and honour the practice of yoga is by sharing the great teachings that he received from his mentors. For Gianni, the goal of the practice is to experience the practice itself, in the ongoing mission of finding the true, eternal Self in the present. Through effort and grace.
Yoga for Gianni is all about carrying the discoveries that arise from the practice into the day to day. To be present and take the driver’s seat of this life experience.
