In a beautiful world that has come to hooray the hustle, we will be finding our souls dancing to the contrary. For this retreat, we take you to Sri Lanka ; a place where the contours of the land form a kind of sinewy poetry.
The Story-telling we have been dreaming about for so long has just come to life. It is down the depth of silver waters, sunbathing on silky rocks, twinkling in tandem with the languid movement of the ocean that this creative and liberating expedition will come about.
We have imagined the Actias Selene rebirth; taking what resonates the most and integrating it in an unique way that enhances the way we feel, respond, relate and act in the world.
This new paradigm is all about co-creation. Josie Prendergast, Camille Robiou du Pont & Eva Lucie Daniela will be sharing their dreams, passions and visions. They have created a space for you to follow your heart and intuition whilst feeling totally guided.
This retreat is about celebrating each other and exploring practices from Jivamukti Yoga, Longboarding to nurturing your femininity through Photography. This is an invitation for women to take a deep dive into the most vibrant, emotive, sense of themselves, between light and shadow, to reconnect with their feminine, unapologetically fierce and ever-changing nature.

Kurulu Bay
Kurulu Bay (Sinhalese for “bird island”) is a private sanctuary built around the existing. Overlooking Sri Lanka’s largest and one of its most scenic lakes, Koggala Lake, and surrounded by lush greenery, every element has been carefully considered to offer space, privacy and tranquility, with an emphasis on health & wellbeing. Garden suites and cottages tucked away
on a private jungle estate; each with its own character and architectural style—designed to allow for a sense of intimacy with the surrounding nature. While the pre-existing Kurulu House merges a 1960 Florida architecture style and tropical Bawa modernism, the contemporary rooms and suites were designed by award winning international architects A00.
Josie Prendergast
She was born on the island of Siargao in the Philippines and raised in Byron Bay, Australia. Traveling back and forth from both homes, the ocean has always been near. She is a Professional Surfer signed with Billabong at the age of 15.
Her natural appreciation and gratitude for being graced with the opportunity to travel the world with her surfing has shaped her soul. When it comes to surfing, Josie is head over heels, but always with a lot of compassion. She is a humble woman who devoted a lot of her time giving back to the community and helping out with her Filipina family who are her biggest inspiration.
Eva Lucie Daniela
Eva is a Certified Jivamukti Teacher & the Founder of Retreats Collective.
She believes whole-heartedly in a community that experiences unique immersive retreats for life changing transformation. She wishes to share these liberation practices for the heart as a pathway to recovery, transmitting the gifted experiences that helped her along the way.
She was born in France and became a Yoga Teacher in February 2016. She has then started her studies at the Jivamukti Yoga School in February 2018. Over the last eight years, Eva has received transmission from many teachers to whom she is endlessly grateful and devoted —among these are Sharon Gannon, David Life, Yogeswari, Rebeca Recatero, Talia Sutra and Meghan Currie. She has recently begun her Apprenticeship with Conor Byrnes in Paris, hoping to take her teaching to another level.
Camille Robiou du Pont
Director, Photographer & Filmmaker, Camille has been based in Asia since 2012. Originally from France, she decided to pursue her life in Siargao, in the Philippines, where she has found infinite inspiration with nature and the surf lifestyle.
She is passionate about capturing images in the ocean, deeply inspired by the movement of water, the lights and the particular femininity that this setting allows to explore. Her body of work is a tribute to these influences.
Her artworks have been exposed worldwide and published in different books and magazines such as Vogue or Tatler Magazine.

The Food Philosophy
Mindful attention is placed on an unsurpassed quality of ingredients. Sourcing fresh and sustainable harvested produce from the surrounding area, prepared in the open kitchen using organic oils and ingredients, served as simple, elegant dishes with a distinctive touch of the chefs. The culinary experience is framed by spectacular views over Koggala Lake, accompanied by a fine selection of beverages.
You can expect a plant-based, healthy and cruelty-free diet that nurtures and that is sourced locally and grown sustainably to support the environment and the local community.

The Early Bird offer is only valid until November 15th, 2023.
For this retreat, we are subject to converting money to different currencies as our guests come from every corner of the world. We will use the American Dollar (USD) as the reference rate.
