ROUND MIRROR

Practice as reflection, seeing light, reflecting light.

February 28th - March 5th, 2026
with Conor Byrnes

KURULU BAY, AHANGAMA, SRI LANKA

The eyes through which I see the world sees me. If we wish to change what we see — we must change who we are. The study of Yoga reveals directly that when we work with our mind and energy, rather than waiting for external conditions to be perfect, we begin to perfect external conditions. This world and our eyes are round mirrors. How we feel is what we manifest in the form of this Life.

We invite you to journey with Conor Byrnes to practice the polishing of these mirrors in pristine and vital Ahangama, Sri Lanka. Here we will be applying the ancient and alive practices of breath, bandha, kriya and asana to reveal the sparkling wonder of these round mirrors, when they are given the space to reflect clear.

KURULU BAY

Kurulu Bay (Sinhalese for “bird island”) is a private sanctuary built around the existing nature. Overlooking Sri Lanka’s most scenic lakes, Koggala Lake, and surrounded by lush greenery, every element has been carefully considered to offer space, privacy and tranquility, with an emphasis on health & wellbeing. Garden suites and tree houses are

tucked away on a private jungle estate; each with its own character and architectural style. The Kurulu house, used as the open space for gathering and practicing facing the sunset, gives an incredible feeling of calmness. This is an invitation for us to truly appreciate the gift of being in such surrounding Nature.
