ORIGEM

An intimate Jivamukti Yoga Retreat

August 29th - September 3rd, 2026

with Conor Byrnes & Rebecca Munro

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL

This is our origin. This is our lineage.

A retreat held in a place where granite mountains rise from the ocean and where dense, untamed rainforest breathes within the city itself.

Here, the nature of Rio de Janeiro provides a refuge for reflection and contemplation. It calls us to arrive, from afar, to awaken, anew, without resistance, and to rest within its rhythm.

Just like resilient trees, we root down, cultivate discipline and devotion, so it may blossom into clarity and inner knowing. We bend with the wind, nourish ourselves from fertile soil to continue growing even in times of uncertainty and chaos.

We return to the ground of practice. We root through asana, deepen through mantra, and open into stillness. Surrounded by the raw beauty of this land, we align with a deeper rhythm — the one that moves through the tides, the forests, and our own breath.
In this return, we are invited to remember our origin, which is not separate, but part of Nature herself. Held by her, we are able to offer that same sense of refuge — to ourselves and to others.

Honouring a lineage from our teachers and their teachers before them, Conor & Rebecca will share Jivamukti Yoga practices, rooted in compassion and deep listening — to the body, to the breath, to nature, and to something greater than ourselves.

So we return to presence.
To connection.
To the origin.

CASA ROCHA

Located in the Santa Teresa neighborhood, nestled in a garden with lush vegetation, Casa Rocha overlooks the city of Rio, offering a breathtaking view of Pão de Açúcar and Baía de Guanabara. A true haven of peace and intimacy, where movement occupies a privileged place, with a 45 m² studio at its center. This authentic colonial

house was renovated with an elegant and contemporary touch, offering minimalist decor and impeccable comfort. Each of the five rooms facing the ocean or the garden, has been designed with natural colors and traditional materials, conveying a great sense of serenity.

REBECCA MUNRO

Rebecca is an 800hr Advanced Certified Jivamukti Yoga teacher and a 50hr trauma-informed Yin Yoga teacher based in Berlin. She has been teaching since 2022 with great dedication and humility, creating spaces where yoga becomes a path toward presence, inner clarity, and personal transformation.

Her classes combine a dynamic, breath-centered asana practice with meditation, philosophy, and chanting mantra. With her calm presence and precise teaching style, Rebecca invites students to slow down, listen deeply, and cultivate a more conscious relationship with themselves, their lives, and the world around them.

Alongside her Jivamukti training, Rebecca is also a certified and experienced Tarot reader. Her readings offer a space for reflection and guidance, allowing people to tap into their intuition and connect with their own inner truth.
